Line by Line can assist more accurate forecasting by analysing past and current income performance, using statistical techniques such as regression. We also have a good understanding of key concepts in market research, such as survey design, minimum sample size, confidence intervals, statistical volatility and weighting.
Our experience with statistical analysis includes the following:
- Key methodology advisor on the ATOC Retail Mystery Shopper survey since 1999. This role involves: the creation of a statistically representative sample of ticket transactions; checking data quality; the calculation of pass/fail rates using LENNON data as weights; and the calculation of confidence intervals.
- Creation of the survey and weighting methodology which underpinned the 2003 Freedom Pass survey.
